Tanya earned her B.A. in Psychology from California State University Northridge in 2002. During that education, she played four years of collegiate softball. Tanya got started in the fitness industry in 2003 at Los Angeles Valley College as the Women's Softball Strength & Conditioning Coach. After three years, she moved to North County San Diego to help start the first women's softball team for California State University San Marcos. While there, she taught her kinesiology students how to become personal trainers.
After leaving academia, Tanya spent six years as an exercise specialist at another training facility in Vista before coming on board with us here at Dimensional Fitness. She has trained professional athletes as well as college and high school athletes. And she's trained elderly clients in need of rehab and those in need of weight loss strategies. Tanya is passionate about helping her clients achieve their fitness goals by equipping them with the tools for success.
